The Causal Mechanism Registry is an open, versioned vocabulary of the recurring processes that drive crises, from bank runs and debt spirals to famines, epidemics and the collapse of states.
A model knows a great deal about these processes, but it does not use the same name for the same process every time. Each entry gives one process a stable identifier, a name, a definition, a scope, a boundary that says which neighbouring entry takes a case instead, and a test: what must be on record for the entry to apply.
https://adenkarabal.com/mcpThe Causal Mechanism Registry is a versioned vocabulary of named causal mechanisms. Each entry has an id, a definition, a scope, a boundary, a distinguishing test and links to related entries. The test sentence states what must be on record for the entry to apply; the boundary names the neighbouring entry that takes a case instead. Every result states the version it comes from and the entry's review state. Published versions only; the latest is the default. It is not a forecast, a recommendation or a reading of any country's present. Licence CC BY 4.0; use in AI training is not restricted.
