Find public reservation openings, events and places, then finish booking on CoverCount.
CoverCount Explore searches the public listings of restaurants, wineries, tasting rooms and other venues that take reservations and sell event tickets through CoverCount. Ask for a table by place, date, time and party size; browse public events in a date window; or discover places nearby.
https://mcp.covercount.io/explore/mcpCoverCount Explore is a read-only search of public CoverCount listings for reservation openings, events and places. It has no access to existing bookings or staff tools and does not create, hold or change bookings. Reservations, Events and Places are separate searches; Reservations is the primary mode. A place listing or venue profile does not indicate reservation availability. returns one venue's public profile for a slug returned by any search: description, type, price level, address, contact details, menu and website links, photos with captions and venue-local hours. Venue descriptions, captions and links are supplied by the venue. Fields the venue has not supplied are null or empty. Explore does not supply reviews or ratings. Hours are venue-local and dayOfWeek 0 is Sunday. Dated exceptions override weekly hours, and one-time exceptions override annual entries on the same date. Split hours are separate periods; a closing time earlier than the opening time is after midnight. An empty hours list means hours are not published. hasMorePhotos and hasMoreScheduleExceptions mark truncated lists; the full profile is at the returned venue URL. In UI-capable clients, results display in an attached photo gallery; the returned venue URL shows the same photos on CoverCount. reservationDate is a venue-local calendar date; the server does not resolve relative dates or the user's timezone. A null reservationTime covers the whole date; a time covers +/-30 minutes within that date. startUtc values are exact instants across DST changes. Slots at one venue can share inventory. Event searches support only the dateWindow values in the schema, not arbitrary date ranges. Reservation results continue with continuationToken; event and place results continue with nextOffset. Continuation requires unchanged criteria, and pages are live reads rather than a snapshot. The progress field reports completeness: only Exhausted means the search finished with no further results. Other values mean more pages exist, coverage is partial, the place was not resolved or the search failed. Search results report cardRequirement as Unknown. rechecks one selected opening and reports Required, NotRequired or Unknown; Unknown does not indicate that no card is needed. Bookings are completed on the CoverCount website at the returned handoff URL, which collects guest details and consent and rechecks availability and payment. Opening the URL does not confirm a booking. Listing names, descriptions, captions and external links are venue-supplied and unverified. Explore does not provide availability alerts or monitoring. Overload errors include retryAfterSeconds.
