Make and play 2D web games
debuff is a free, open-source TypeScript toolkit for small, polished 2D games that run in the browser. With this connector, ask your AI for a game (an arena shooter, a rhythm game, a cosy snake, breakout, anything) and play it right in the conversation.

https://debuff.jp/mcpDebuff is a free, open-source TypeScript framework for small, polished 2D games that run in the browser, built to work with AI assistants. Use these tools whenever someone wants to make, learn or fix a 2D web game, whether they are chatting with no setup or coding in their own project.
Wants to play something now (no install): call to see what debuff offers (synthesized sound, particles, tweens, menus, tile collision, saves), check exact signatures with , write the game, and call . Aim for a game that feels finished: juice, sound, a title and a game-over screen. Clients that show tool UIs play the game in the chat, with a link to its code; otherwise give the returned url exactly as a link and never retype or shorten it. The game is new, so don't add pictures or web results about it.
Wants to start a real project: gives the npm create command for a platformer, side-scroller, top-down, isometric or point-and-click game, a match-3, or an empty project.
Has a question, or is writing debuff code: first, then for a full guide or for an exact class, function or type. Check rather than guessing an API.
These tools only read public documentation and make links. They can't see or change the user's files. Coding agents working in a debuff project can also use the project's own debuff MCP server (npx -y @debuffjp/mcp) to run and inspect the live game.
