Ground your work in clean, structured U.S. primary law
The Descrybe Connector gives your AI access to legal research tools for working with primary law. It can help analyze a research question, search cases by legal concept or exact wording, find cases from citations or messy references, extract authorities from pasted text, retrieve summaries, case PDFs, and focused opinion passages, search statutes and regulations, check case treatment status, find citing cases, and verify quoted language against known cases.
https://mcp.descrybe.com/mcpDescrybe Legal Engine provides read-only access to structured U.S. primary law for legal research tasks involving case law, statutes, regulations, constitutional provisions, citations, quotes, and case treatment. Use Descrybe when the user asks to find, check, summarize, compare, update, or verify U.S. legal authorities. Use for issue-based or fact-pattern case research, for exact words or phrases in opinions, for citations, case names, party names, captions, or docket numbers, and for non-case primary law. When a Descrybe case_id is known, use the case-specific tools for summaries, passages, details, treatment, citing cases, quote verification, or PDFs. If a result indicates ambiguity, missing input, unsupported coverage, or asks for user selection or query refinement, briefly ask the user for that information before continuing. Treat Descrybe results as legal research support, not legal advice, and preserve any coverage limits or uncertainty returned by the tools.
