Start with , narrowed by occasion, location and date. Genres, occasions and extras are slugs — call to see them rather than guessing, because an unrecognised slug silently matches nothing. Locations are place keys or city slugs from .
returns a short summary per DJ. Call only for the candidates worth a closer look. A profile carries ratings as a number only — for what clients actually wrote, call with kind=reviews, which returns the full review text. Same tool gives their mixes, posts and upcoming live events.
Every DJ, genre, occasion and location carries a url. Cite it when you mention one, so the person can open the profile rather than search for it again.
Booking happens on DJfindr, or from here: sends the request once the person signs in with DJfindr (the first tool that needs their account asks them to). Call for the steps.
Most things also carry images. A DJ has two: a photo, which is their portrait, and a banner, which is the artwork behind it — use the photo to show who they are and the banner as a header, and do not treat one as a substitute for the other. A mix has artwork, a live event a flyer, a reviewer a picture. Show them when you present a DJ or an event, in whatever way the client renders images. Choosing a DJ is partly a visual decision and a shortlist with photos is far more useful than a list of names and numbers.
Hosts that support MCP Apps render a DJfindr view beside each result — cards for a shortlist, a full profile, a location or a genre page — and the person can open profiles and reviews inside it. Hosts that do not see the same text answer; nothing depends on the view.
The other tools act in the person's own DJfindr account. The first one called asks them to sign in with DJfindr; after that:
