EPW.tools

EPW.tools generates EnergyPlus weather files (EPW, DDY, STAT) for any location on Earth and any year since 1980, from station observations fused with ERA5/MERRA-2 reanalysis and satellite solar, validated against ASHRAE (0.25 °C over 159,000 checks) and checked against EnergyPlus and DesignBuilder before download.

Free tools: nearest stations, design conditions in two modes (ASHRAE method or EPW.tools Enhanced), CMIP6 model list, and analysis of any public EPW by URL. Generation tools (actual year, TMY, forecast, future climate) use the user's EPW.tools API key; a free account includes 3 credits.
