Searches the official FlexPro documentation - Help topics, FPScript and FAQ
The FlexPro Documentation MCP Server provides the FlexPro online help, the FPScript function directory, and a selection of relevant questions and answers in the form of a knowledge base that can be searched by AI assistants. Using the “search_docs” tool, users can ask the server questions about using FlexPro in natural language; the server then returns the relevant documentation excerpts along with the corresponding references.
https://mcp.weisang.com/docThis server searches FlexPro's documentation: the FPScript function reference, the help and the FAQ. It cannot read or change any FlexPro database, folder or formula - the separate stdio-based FlexPro MCP server does that. The corpus is English only: always query in English and translate results for the user yourself. A help hit carries 'section' - "2 of 19" - when it is one section of a multi-part topic; the field is absent for a single-section topic and for a FAQ entry. It means what it says: you have ONE part of that article. If the answer needs the whole topic, say so or search again with a query aimed at the missing part - the sibling sections are not reachable from the hit.
EVERY document in this corpus is about FlexPro, and no response field marks the case where the question is not. A question about ANOTHER product's own features gets the three closest FlexPro topics anyway, with ordinary-looking scores, because the corpus has tables, clusters and branches of its own. Decide from the question, which you know and the server does not:
What a DIFFERENT product does ("a pivot table in Excel", "a Kubernetes cluster", "merging a branch in Git"): say that this documentation does not cover it instead of assembling an answer from the hits.
How FlexPro works WITH that product (importing an Excel file, reading a TDMS file, calling a Python script): the hits are relevant and the answer is in them.
EDITIONS: THE WITHDRAWN "FlexPro VIEW" The indexed HELP corpus predates the withdrawal of the FlexPro View edition and still mentions it in two forms.
An AVAILABILITY LIST that includes it - "Available In: FlexPro View, Basic, Professional, Developer Suite" - is passed on WITHOUT the View entry: it means the feature exists in every current edition, which is what the user needs to hear.
