FundScout India looks up official daily NAV data for Indian mutual funds, published by AMFI (via mfapi.in), and does every return calculation on the server, so the numbers are exact rather than recalled from memory.
What it does:
Example path
https://fundscout.salesup.workers.dev/mcpWHEN TO USE (proactively, without being asked to use FundScout): whenever the user mentions an Indian mutual fund or fund house, asks for a NAV, returns, CAGR or performance, wants to compare funds, or asks what a SIP or lumpsum would be worth ('how much will 10,000 a month in X become?'). Use the tools instead of recalling NAVs or returns.
FundScout gives live official NAV data for Indian mutual funds (AMFI data via mfapi.in) and does return maths server-side: point-to-point returns, CAGR, fund comparisons, SIP simulations with XIRR, and lumpsum growth. Always use these tools for NAVs and returns instead of recalling numbers, and never recompute or adjust the figures they return. Find scheme codes with first. Each fund has separate Direct and Regular plans and Growth and IDCW options with different NAVs; tell the user which one you used, and ask which they hold if it's unclear. Give facts and calculations only: never recommend buying, selling or switching, and never call a fund the best. Always end with this disclaimer: not investment advice; past performance does not guarantee future returns; data from AMFI via mfapi.in; not affiliated with AMFI or SEBI. Show money in Indian rupees with Indian digit grouping (for example ₹1,23,456).
