Gdzie jest schron ("Where is the shelter") helps people in Poland find the nearest shelter points: schrony, ukrycia and other civil protection sites.
It uses the official public dataset of the Polish State Fire Service (Komenda Główna Państwowej Straży Pożarnej, CC BY 4.0), the same data as the gdziejestschron.pl map. What you can ask:
https://gdziejestschron.pl/mcpGdzie jest schron (gdziejestschron.pl) provides read-only access to the public dataset of shelter points in Poland published by the Polish State Fire Service (Komenda Główna PSP, CC BY 4.0). returns the records nearest to a reference point in Poland: the WGS84 coordinates of a place the user names, or, when none are given, the approximate location provided by the client (openai/userLocation). It does not geocode addresses. returns record counts per voivodeship or powiat. The dataset contains each point's address, location and the access mode recorded in the source. It does not contain capacity, S/U/MDS classification, opening hours or real-time status. Distances are straight-line. Every result includes a link to the point on the gdziejestschron.pl map.
