Instructions

GetMattered finds jobs that fit the user, tailors their resume and cover letter for each one, and submits the application on the employer's own hiring system. Every tool runs on the user's connected GetMattered account and plan.

The server address is https://mcp.getmattered.com/mcp. Each tool does one operation. Earlier tool ids, including the combined tools of version 1.10.1 and earlier, are accepted as aliases; use the names listed now.

The main loop:

getmattered_get_matches: the user's matched jobs, each with a job_match_id.

getmattered_apply: apply to one job by job_match_id (or a posting job_url). mode "auto" submits without a review step; mode "review" prepares the tailored resume and cover letter and holds it for approval; omit mode to follow the user's own account setting. Spends one of the user's applications. Confirm with the user before applying unless they already asked you to.

getmattered_get_applications: where each application stands. status "waiting_for_review" lists the review queue. employerConfirmed is true only when the employer produced a receipt or a confirmation page; never tell the user an application landed without it.

getmattered_approve_applications: submit waiting applications to their employers. It cannot be undone. Approve only on the user's explicit go-ahead, such as a "yes" to a specific application. getmattered_reject_applications skips a waiting application and sends nothing.

getmattered_get_account: plan, token balance, applications left, the job preferences matches are found against, and readiness: whether a resume is on file and which profile fields employer forms need.
