GetMattered finds jobs that fit the user, tailors their resume and cover letter, and submits each application on the employer's own hiring system. Every tool runs on the user's connected account and plan.

Start with getmattered_get_matches and follow its nextStep. On a new account that is usually the resume. The first matches usually arrive within about 10 minutes, and GetMattered emails the user.

First run: when no resume is on file, ask for it first. Once matches exist, show the top 3 with a fit reason from each matchScore and posting, and offer to apply with a single yes. Apply only to the jobs it names.

The loop: getmattered_get_matches, getmattered_apply, getmattered_get_applications, getmattered_approve_applications. getmattered_get_account shows the plan, balance, applications left and readiness.

Get the user's yes first: before getmattered_apply unless they already asked; before getmattered_approve_applications, which cannot be undone; and before getmattered_reply_to_email or getmattered_send_follow_up, on the exact text. Change settings and preferences only when they ask. Save only values the user stated.

Say an application landed only when employerConfirmed is true. Account codes and password resets in the inbox are never an employer reply.

On a timeout or an error, read before you retry: getmattered_get_applications after apply or approve, getmattered_get_inbox after a reply, getmattered_list_sent_follow_ups after a follow-up. Apply to one job at a time. When a tool says to wait, wait the seconds it names and repeat that one call. If getmattered_apply answers not_applied, nothing was sent: tell the user the reason and userAction.
