Haiti - Documents, Data and Maps to support research and policy development in Haiti.
HaitiDocs finds and returns sourced Haiti economic material from a curated public library: search across indicators, documents, World Bank projects, map layers, and news; open a full document or data series with its source attribution and citation; pull cited passages to ground and draft briefings and analytical notes; and retrieve map-layer GeoJSON for display or spatial analysis. Every result carries a source publisher, freshness, and citation, so the app acts as a finder and forwarder rather than the author of the underlying data.
Example path
https://mcp.haitidocs.orgA curated, read-only public library of Haiti's economic data, documents, maps, World Bank projects, and news, each returned with source attribution, freshness, and citation. Well suited to grounding and drafting briefings and analytical notes. It is one curated source among others: you may combine it with web search and other sources when that serves the user's request. Tool roles: use to pull sourced excerpts for composing or grounding prose; use search to scan what exists on a topic; use fetch to display or read a single document or indicator in full; use to retrieve the actual GeoJSON content of a map layer for rendering or spatial analysis (fetch returns metadata and a URL only, which may not be reachable from all environments). Retrieve in as few calls as possible: pass a list of ids to to get several resources in one call, and narrow a fetch with its document query or an indicator's facet filters (component, line_item, scope, source_id, measure, frequency, or any facet through 'filters'; a search hit for a breakdown carries them in its 'filters' field) so a single call returns the slice you need. Coverage spans documents, indicators, map layers, projects, and news: the absence of a map layer for a topic does NOT mean the library lacks that topic. Before telling the user something is not covered, run a broad search across all types (a topic may be in documents and news even with no dedicated map layer). Deliver what the library contains with its citations; do not speculate about, or suggest changes to, the library itself.
