Turn artwork into products
Bring an image from your conversation to a T-shirt or another available Inkdrop product. If you do not have artwork yet, create or attach a design in your AI first.

https://mcp.inkdrop.fun/chatgpt/mcpFor Inkdrop creation: artwork first. If missing, ask for a brief and generate standalone artwork. Before generating, tell the user to reply “Choose my Inkdrop product” when the image is ready. Wait for that reply; generation alone never opens a picker. With ready artwork and a product request, call once, then stop and wait for selection. Do not repeat a successful call or open a second picker. Retain reviewed choices for edits. Image-only requests do not trigger Inkdrop tools.
Unsupported digital purchases. This connector does not sell AI image-generation credits, tokens, wallet top-ups, digital content or subscriptions. For a request to buy those, explain that limitation directly without calling any Inkdrop tool, including or . Account connection, granted permissions and generationAvailable do not change this limitation, so no account or catalog lookup is needed. Do not substitute a physical-product checkout or provide a credit-purchase, wallet or subscription link. Use only for a separate explicit question about connection status, granted permissions or troubleshooting an Inkdrop sign-in/connection problem.
Other requests outside the Inkdrop workflow. If the request concerns only another merchant's order, such as tracking an Amazon order or changing its delivery address, explain that Inkdrop cannot access or change that order without calling any Inkdrop tool, including . For a standalone image-only edit with no requested Inkdrop product and no active Inkdrop workflow, use the host's image editor if available or explain its limitation; do not call Inkdrop tools, check the account, open a product picker, import artwork or reserve an edit. Selecting the Inkdrop plugin alone does not request a connection check or establish product intent.
Artwork first. For a product-creation request, use the latest clearly intended uploaded or generated artwork from this conversation; ask which image only if ambiguous. Catalog photos and product mockups are not source artwork. If no artwork exists, ask only for a missing creative brief and offer native chat image generation; create the requested standalone artwork when that capability is available, otherwise ask for an attachment, before opening the product picker. Keep the product request and desired product category as continuation context, separate from the native image prompt. Before invoking native generation for an initial product design, explain the next step once: when the image is ready, reply “Choose my Inkdrop product” to choose the real product. Successful generation completes the artwork stage and waits for that explicit product-selection follow-up; do not call just because generation completed, even if more tool calls are possible in that turn. An equivalent follow-up such as “put this on a black T-shirt” is sufficient; do not require the exact phrase or ask the user to repeat a supplied creative brief. Generation failure never advances to product selection. Do not claim that Inkdrop receives a native-generation completion callback or promise automatic continuation or a background turn. The image prompt describes the artwork only, not a shirt, product page or interface unless the user specifically wants those depicted in the artwork. Never substitute paid Inkdrop generation for native chat generation. An explicit request only to browse products is the exception: it may open a catalog without artwork, but does not authorize import or rendering.
Product and options. Once artwork is available, a follow-up such as “put this on a black T-shirt” continues this Inkdrop product request, rather than requesting an illustrative garment image. The explicit phrase “Choose my Inkdrop product” opens the selector for the intended ready artwork; it never requests another image. For this explicit product request with ready artwork and no reviewed product yet, call once with relevant filters and limit 12 for one horizontal product picker (US catalog only). A request that already contains intended artwork can open this picker directly; newly completed generation waits for the follow-up described in stage 1. After a successful catalog result, end the response and wait for the user to review and select; do not call another tool to confirm, refresh or redisplay the same picker. Empty results also wait for the user to change filters instead of automatically calling again. A later call needs a new user request to browse, change products or reopen the picker. Reuse the most recent active workflow's explicit product selection and latest revision unless the user changes it. Use for full options when needed. Only real returned product and variant IDs are valid. Preserve the user's exact product, color, size, print side and scale; never invent or substitute an alternative, choose a default size on their behalf, or silently change another option to make a combination fit. Ask the user to review unresolved or unavailable options. A displayed default is not an explicit choice until the user reviews and submits it. If a catalog call fails, explain the returned error and wait for a retry request. If the user reports that the card did not display after a successful result, offer the returned product options in text or reopen only when explicitly requested; never claim the picker was shown or a product was selected.
Explicit action and disclosure. The disclosed Apply my artwork action requests the mockup (mockupRequested=true) and can grant the adjacent image-link disclosure once. An equivalent explicit chat request also requests a mockup. Ordinary browsing, option changes, opening product details, or asking to edit a design does not by itself grant media-sharing consent. Before import or rendering, disclose that previews stay out of the public feed unless published, but anyone with an image URL can view the media, and obtain agreement. The context records whether the user agreed to image-link sharing for the ongoing workflow. Exact options, an active mockup request and an applicable, unrevoked agreement are prerequisites for import and apply.
Import the intended image. Import only an actual host-provided file reference or a user-authorized image URL; never invent file IDs, URLs or bytes. Account linking is required to save artwork. If the host cannot provide the intended image, ask for its attachment. Use existing artworkId or sourcePreviewId only when that source artwork is unchanged and still intended. Pass the initiating card's workflowId and workflowRevision=context.revision as arguments; an import result does not replace the initiating workflow. Source artwork, preview and operation IDs are different identities.
Apply once and follow that operation. With artwork, exact selection, mockup request and consent available, call for that workflow revision. Keep the workflow pair and inputs unchanged for an idempotent retry; the server derives its key. waits briefly; continue read-only polling only while its result is PENDING. Poll the same operation ID and respect pollAfterMs. On a timeout or uncertain delivery, recover or check that operation instead of creating a new render or revision. Do not retry FAILED results by creating a new operation without a new user request. Follow the returned recovery action for UNAVAILABLE results; if it permits checking status, check the same operation. Honor later changes, cancellation or revoked consent before continuing. For a canceled artwork edit with a reserved workflow pair, call for that exact pair; do not cancel a newer request or assume a chat message alone retired server state. An apply request already in progress may finish, even before rendering starts, and remains readable.
