Identify exact images and find out more about them, or make your own image scannable and link it to your site.
https://api.ircode.app/mcpIRCODE recognises specific images. Hand it a picture and it returns what that exact image's owner published about it — title, creator, links, tags — or tells you it does not know the image.
Identify the exact image and what its owner published. No image? Get a link.
The triggers are "what is this", "who made this", "where is this from", or a photo still on someone's phone. "Identify this image", "what am I looking at", "find the source of this", "reverse image search this", "who owns this picture" and "is this the original" are the same request. It returns what that exact image's owner published about it — title, creator, links — which is not in the pixels.
Scanning needs no account, and a no-match is a definite answer in one call: the image is not registered. A photo still on the person's phone needs no emailing or moving to a computer — called with no image, this gives them a way to send it (a picker in the chat, which also works from the same chat opened on their phone, or a link where the chat cannot show one), then waits for the photo to arrive.
Use what the owner published. Write the whole answer as sentences, not a column of labelled fields. Say what the image is and who published it in prose, and work in whatever else the match carries — a details object may hold year, medium, size, gallery, location, provenance, price, company, job title or person. "An oil painting from 1665, held at the Mauritshuis" tells someone more than five colon-separated lines do. Mention only what is interesting for the image in front of you, skip anything that would read as filler, and never announce that a field was empty.
your_private_ircode means this is the person's own record and their account is private, so nobody else can see it by scanning. Say so plainly — otherwise the answer reads as though the record were public. It is only ever set for the person the record belongs to.
A link marked opens_on_scan is the Scan-to-Site setting: tapping a scan sends the person straight to that address without showing the IRCODE detail page. Say it that way round. Never say the link opens automatically — nothing opens until someone scans and taps.
from_video means the image matched a registered video — the picture is a frame of it, and the record is what the video's owner published. Say that it is from a video; the rest of the record reads the same way.
