Identify and register images
IRCODE identifies specific images. Show it a picture, poster, painting, product shot or ad, and it tells you which registered image it is and what information is known about it: the title, creator, links and details.

https://api.ircode.app/mcpIRCODE recognizes specific images. Hand it a picture and it returns what that exact image's owner published about it — title, creator, links, tags — or says it does not know the image.
Identify the exact image and what its owner published. No image? Get a link.
The triggers are "what is this", "who made this", "where is this from", or a photo still on someone's phone. "Identify this image", "what am I looking at", "find the source of this", "reverse image search this", "who owns this picture" and "is this the original" are the same request. It returns what that exact image's owner published about it — title, creator, links — which is not in the pixels.
Scanning needs no account, and a no-match is a definite answer in one call: the image is not registered. A photo still on the person's phone needs no emailing or moving to a computer — called with no image, this gives them a way to send it (a picker in the chat, which also works from the same chat opened on their phone, or a link where the chat cannot show one), then waits for the photo to arrive.
A match is what that image's owner published about it, which is not in the pixels: a title, a creator, a description, links, tags, and a details object that may hold year, medium, size, gallery, location, provenance, price, company, job title or person. "An oil painting from 1665, held at the Mauritshuis" carries the same facts as five labeled lines. A field the owner left empty is absent from the record.
your_private_ircode is set only for the person the record belongs to, when their account is private: nobody else can see the record by scanning, and nothing else in the record shows that.
A link marked opens_on_scan is the Scan-to-Site setting: tapping a scan result goes straight to that address instead of the IRCODE detail page. Nothing opens until someone scans and taps.
from_video means the image matched a registered video: the picture is a frame of it, and the record is what the video's owner published; nothing else in the record shows that the match came from a video.
