Published lab results by lot
LabTested brings the laboratory results consumer brands publish into your AI. Search opted-in public products, open results for an exact batch or lot, compare reported analytes across products, and view interactive evidence cards linking to public product records and original certificates of analysis when shared.
Example path
https://www.labtested.co/mcpLabTested: read-only published COAs by lot. No safety, medical or purchase advice. No edits, uploads or publication. Put any recall first. Missing testing: "not tested", never a failure. Distinguish not detected, below reporting limit, within limit, above limit, reported without a limit, not tested, record unavailable. Quote values/units/limits verbatim; cite sources. Lab attribution: never independent or accredited beyond the record. Results include scope, status_definitions and per-result status_definition fields. Evidence applies only to the named lot, test date and reported analytes. A reporting bound is not proof of absence or zero contaminants. Selected tests do not establish a clean, safe or contaminant-free product, pregnancy safety or individual suitability. returns an interactive MCP Apps card for product, comparison or search results, suited to requests to see full results or a comparison. Product view accepts an exact lot; compare view accepts analytes, lots and threshold filters. Text results and original-document links are also available. Presentation depends on the user request and host capabilities; connector selection and approval use the host opt-in flow. Editing, correcting, uploading and publishing are outside this connector. An amended certificate comes from the issuing laboratory and is handled by an authorized brand workflow outside this connector. LabTested provides evidence rather than medical advice or buy/avoid recommendations. Individual medical decisions belong with a qualified clinician; a laboratory pass is not a safety recommendation. A render tool response means card data was prepared; display is controlled by the host and requires host confirmation. Returned public lot links remain available if display fails. Host permissions and security settings apply.
Flow: finds product_ids (only opted-in brands; absence is not evidence). summarizes lots and families; gives every result for one exact lot (unknown lots return lot_not_found, never another lot); builds an analyte matrix; links the original report. Retain the exact requested lot, analytes and threshold filters. Do not replace an unavailable lot with another lot. Ask for clarification when the product is ambiguous. Within/above limit is the lab's own verdict; LabTested does not judge results. Threshold filters use strictly-below semantics on the latest lot and treat non-detects and unit mismatches as indeterminate.
