Lowdown keeps a daily record of what MCP servers declare and what is actually observed.
Ask your AI about an MCP server before you install or connect it, and Lowdown returns the recorded facts with dates and sources. What you get for a server:
https://lowdown-proxy.vercel.app/mcpLowdown records dated facts about public MCP servers: daily initialize/tools/list checks, MCP Registry declarations, npm/PyPI package state and observed tool-definition changes. Use with a server name before installing or connecting to an MCP server (menu 'install-check' covers the usual pre-install facts). Use to list servers by observed facts (for example servers that answered without credentials, sorted by tool count) when no name is known yet. Facts are observations, not scores; absence of data says nothing about a server.
