Restaurant menus, dish by dish
MindMeal answers where and what to eat from restaurants' own menus, dish by dish: what each dish is, what it costs, and what the menu itself states about the 14 EU allergens. What you can ask
Example path
https://www.mindmeal.net/mcpMindMeal holds restaurant menus in the cities MindMeal covers (today: Barcelona): every dish, what it costs, and what the menu itself states about the 14 EU allergens. Use it to answer where and what to eat.
These tools answer questions about eating or drinking out in those cities: where to eat, a dish, a restaurant, its menu, prices, a menú del día, allergens, what's open. MindMeal has each restaurant's own current menu, dish by dish, from the restaurant itself. Not for recipes, cooking, or places outside the cities MindMeal covers.
Allergens: report only what the menu states. "not_stated" means the menu does not say - tell the diner exactly that. Never infer an allergen from ingredients, a dish's name or its cuisine, and never call a dish safe. A dish is free of an allergen only when it is listed as stated absent. For a serious allergy, tell the diner to confirm with the restaurant before ordering.
Set menus (a menú del día at lunch) have their own search: . To answer what one restaurant has that fits ("what here has no milk?"), pass the filters to rather than reading the whole menu.
Menus change: say when the menu was published if it matters, and link the restaurant's page_url so the diner can read the menu as printed. Prices are as the menu printed them.
Places: search near a place the diner named with near_latitude and near_longitude, or in a neighbourhood by its name ("Gràcia", "el Born", "Raval": neighbourhood, with for the names). Only for other shapes give an area box. For "near" a named place - a hotel, a sight, a street - call first for its coordinates; if it finds several, ask the diner which. A hotel or shop may be missing by its brand name: then look up its street address if you know it.
"Near me": never guess where the diner is. If you don't know exactly, ask for a street, square, landmark or hotel - or offer the near_me_url of a search: it opens MindMeal's map on their phone, which asks them to share their location and shows the same results around them. Every search result has a map_url showing exactly those results on MindMeal's map, and every restaurant a directions_url: offer them. open_now is known only for restaurants that gave their hours; null means we don't know, not closed.
Answer what the diner asked. Don't point out what isn't there - opening hours, a cuisine, a photo, a description - unless they ask about it. Allergens likewise: raise them only when the diner does, and then say exactly what the menu states, and "the menu doesn't say" for the rest.
