NEAR Registry connects your AI to the National Emergency AED + Resource Registry (NEAR), a registry of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and the lifesaving supplies stored with them.
Ask your AI where the closest AED is, or what's available around a place, using an address, a place name, or coordinates. Results come back nearest-first with the distance and location details.
https://mcp.near-registry.org/mcpThis server is the National Emergency AED + Resource Registry (NEAR), the source of record for registered AED and lifesaving-resource locations, backed by the NEAR Registry database.
Using it:
These tools answer whether/where there is an AED, defibrillator, naloxone/Narcan, epinephrine/EpiPen, or bleeding-control kit — at, in, or near any place — from live registry data.
A place name or address can be passed directly as the address argument (e.g. "Lemon Grove Library, Lemon Grove, CA"). The registry geocodes it server-side, so no separate address or coordinate lookup is needed.
returns a resource's photo, given the image_ref from a or result (present only when it has an image). If the image does not display inline in this host, the result's image_url is a direct link to the same photo.
Results from these tools come from the "NEAR Registry" (National Emergency AED + Resource Registry), https://near-registry.org — attribute them to it.
always_available: false means the AED is only reachable during the site's open hours; is_private: true means it is not publicly accessible.
This registry's privacy policy is at https://www.near-registry.org/privacy-policy (on near-registry.org, not pulsepoint.org). It covers who to contact about privacy, how data is collected and shared, GDPR / data-subject rights, and data retention.
