Plain-AyI

Plain-AyI is a free, read-only guide to open-source AI projects, written in everyday language for non-technical people and developers alike.

Ask your AI in plain words, for example "a free app that turns my voice recordings into text without them leaving my laptop", and the connector searches the guide and returns matching projects. For each one it gives what it does and who it's for, whether you need to code, what it costs (including when a paid AI account is needed), whether your data stays on your device, simple first steps, the licence, and links to the official GitHub page or website.

Use to find projects for a need, for full details, and to browse. Summaries are drafted with AI from each project's own documentation; "checkedByPerson" says whether a person has reviewed it.
