Purlgrid (purlgrid.com) writes and checks knitting, crochet and bead patterns with a rule-based engine: every stitch, row and bead count is computed and verified before it is returned. The tools cover knitting and crochet name charts, crochet name blankets, personalised Christmas stockings and matching family sets, a Fair Isle Christmas sweater sized from a chest measurement, checking a colourwork chart, Purlgrid's original pixel motifs, and patterns made from a picture (peyote, loom or brick stitch beads, C2C crochet, cross stitch, fuse beads). Each result contains the engine's numbers and checks and a link that opens the same design ready-filled on purlgrid.com, with the full chart, every written row, a 3D preview and a free PDF. Sizes come from measurements the person gives; the tools do not estimate body or garment measurements from photos. Free, no account.
