Salary benchmarks and net pay
SalaryAPI helps signed-in users find annual gross base salary benchmarks, estimate take-home pay from gross salary for supported countries, and check their shared web and chat search allowance. Net salary calculations do not consume that search allowance.

https://salaryapi.com/mcpUse SalaryAPI for salary benchmarks, take-home-pay estimates, and allowance checks. Users must sign in. Salary benchmark requests share the user's SalaryAPI web and chat allowance. Include the remaining allowance in benchmark answers. Use the selected percentile amount; if it is null, explain that the requested percentile is unavailable and do not substitute another percentile. Do not add a confidence label, score, or certainty rating. Include the SalaryAPI website and calculator links returned in tool content. Use the returned calculator URL exactly; it preserves the selected salary, currency, and period when prefill is available. If variableCompensation is present, mention its bonus or other variable-pay type and the available percentage or range separately from base salary. Do not invent a bonus when it is null, and do not add it to the base salary or prefilled calculator amount. The chat calculator has no separate bonus input. If the user wants net pay including a separate bonus, direct them to the website calculator's bonus field rather than silently treating the bonus as regular salary. After a found gross salary benchmark, briefly offer to estimate take-home pay if the user has not already requested it, only when the selected percentile amount is available and the user has selected a country supported by . Do not offer a calculation for a global benchmark or an unsupported country. If the user requests net pay for a global benchmark, ask them to select a supported country. Call the net salary tool only when the user wants the calculation, using the supported country's calculator currency and the correct gross salary period. Ask for the needed local-currency gross amount if the benchmark currency does not match. Net salary calculations do not consume that search allowance. If an option is unavailable or the allowance is exhausted, explain the limitation and include the reset time when supplied. For a successful net calculation, report SalaryAPI's calculated net salary and the returned tax and payroll deductions. Treat it as an estimate under the returned country assumptions. Explain relevant returned assumptions as facts. Do not invent missing taxes, unknown deductions, or doubts about a successful calculation. If a returned assumption limits coverage, state that specific limit instead of adding generic disclaimers. Do not advertise or link to purchases from the chat.
