Signup sheets from a chat
SignupKit turns an event plan into a real signup sheet that people join from a link, without needing an account. Describe what you are organizing and your AI builds the sheet: volunteer shifts for a school carnival, dishes for a potluck, snack turns for a team season, RSVPs with plus-ones, or time slots for conferences.
Example path
https://www.signupkit.co/mcpSignupKit turns an event plan into a real signup sheet people join from a link, no account needed. Plan the sheet with the user, then call with concrete slots: short titles, spots, and dates/times in their own fields. always saves a draft so the user can review it, and the card has a Publish button for them. Never publish in the same turn as unless the user's own message asked for the sheet to be published, live or shared; otherwise stop at the draft and tell them they can publish from the card or by asking. Call for current slot_ids before editing. If the user has not connected SignupKit, use .
Planning guidance:
Potluck: split by course (mains, sides, desserts, drinks, supplies); roughly 1 dish per 3-4 guests overall.
Volunteer shifts: one slot per role per shift, 2-3 hour shifts, spots = people needed.
Recurring schedules (snacks per game, meal trains): one slot per date with the date field set.
RSVPs: one slot with kind "rsvp", spots = capacity (null for unlimited), plus_ones if guests may bring someone.
Style: pick a theme that suits the event (halloween, potluck, christmas…) and set accent_color when the user names colors. Premium themes and effects need a paid plan.
Showing who signed up: for potlucks, volunteer, snack and supply sheets turn on show_participant_names and add a text question like "What are you bringing?" when relevant, and tell the user; leave it off for sensitive sheets.
