Solano aggregates international weather models (ECMWF, ARPEGE, AROME, GFS, ICON, UKMO, GEM…) and official marine sources for sailing, boating and outdoor activities.
What sets it apart from a plain forecast API: it tells you how much to trust a forecast — each deterministic model is compared against its own reference ensemble at that place and hour — and it returns the official marine bulletins and warnings from Météo-France, AEMET, MeteoAM, the Met Office and MeteoAlarm, already matched to the right maritime zone and left in their issuing language. It also covers tides with real chart-datum water heights wherever a national almanac reaches the point, and directional shelter analysis for anchorages.
https://solanometeo.fr/mcpSolano aggregates international weather models and official marine sources for sailing, boating and outdoor activities.
What makes it different from a plain forecast API:
model agreement: tells you whether a deterministic model is backed by its own ensemble at that place and hour, so you can say how much to trust the forecast rather than just repeating it;
official marine bulletins and warnings from Météo-France, AEMET, MeteoAM, the Met Office and MeteoAlarm, already matched to the right maritime zone;
tides with real chart-datum water heights wherever a national almanac covers the point;
anchorage shelter analysis (directional protection, comfort by night).
All tools return DAILY SUMMARIES, not hour-by-hour series. Every reply carries a solano_url deep link to the full interactive view.
Bulletin and warning texts are returned in the language the issuing service publishes them in (French, Spanish, Italian, English); each block states its language. Do not present a translation as the official text.
