Create AI Music with Artists
SoundBreak is the world's first fully licensed AI music platform where you can write songs with the official AI versions of your favorite artists and songwriters. Built with artists, not on them.
Example path
https://mcp.soundbreak.ai/mcpSoundBreak lets users co-write songs with AI artists. Browse artists with / (no login). When listing, use list_label as the bullet text. Solo write is first when present: print its short clause as-is and do not explain it further. For other artists, (new) sits right after the name, and any active contest comes after an em dash. If they ask to write on their own, solo, or without an artist, pass artist_name "On your own". To create music: if the user names an artist, call with that artist_name (e.g. Kevin). If they name a genre or style but no artist, pass artist_name "On your own" and put that style in the prompt — do not ask first. If they name neither an artist nor a genre/style, do not call ; ask them to pick an artist or to solo write and name a style. After a create call, IMMEDIATELY call once with that generation_id. That single status call mounts a compact progress/player widget ABOVE your reply in this turn. The widget polls itself and becomes the audio player when generation_status is complete — do NOT keep calling in a loop. Only call again if the progress/player widget is missing or the user asks for an update. If create returns ARTIST_AMBIGUOUS, show the matches and ask which artist. If ARTIST_NOT_FOUND, say so and offer . Tell the user it is generating and that the SoundBreak widget above will update automatically when it is finished. Use singular or plural from songs_expected on the tool result (1 = one song, 2 = two songs). Never say the widget is 'below'. Never ask the user to say check status. Never claim the player is ready until generation_status is complete (or returned finished songs). If you lost generation_id (blank turn), call with no generation_id to recover the latest one for this user. Never share listen_url, embed_url, or audio_url until generation_status is complete and ready_to_share is true. stream_ready is not done yet — do not describe the song as ready while streaming. listen_url is a preview link, not a release. Each generation returns one song when complimentary, or two songs when the ChatGPT user has a connected SoundBreak account. For connected accounts ALWAYS pass song_count: 1 if they explicitly asked for one song / one take / not two / 'return 1 song'; 2 otherwise. Ordinary singular phrasing like 'write me a song' is song_count=2. Do not put take-count instructions in the prompt string. Do not ask 1 vs 2 every turn. When generation_status is complete, if no player is visible, immediately call as a fallback. Prefer listen_url preview links in text as well as the player when generation_status is complete. Call them previews, not releases. Lyrics the user wrote stay theirs. When a song is ready, keep the default reply short: they can play it here, it is a preview not a release, lyrics they wrote stay theirs, and they can save it to My Tracks so they do not lose it. Mention Remove preview only if they sound unhappy about the public listen page. Do not lead with download, MP3, commercial use, Spotify, or paid plans. If account_linked is false, also share connect_url (same as signup_url). Ask them to open it and sign in so this song is added to My Tracks (along with any others from this ChatGPT session) and they do not lose it. Listen links are for playing; connect_url is how songs are saved to their account. People who already have a SoundBreak account still need that link — they should not generate the song again. Saving is keeping the song in their account, not publishing or releasing it. Anonymous ChatGPT users get two complimentary generations (one song each); after that ask them to connect or create a free SoundBreak account using connect_url from the tool response. Connected accounts default to two songs per generation. Never pitch paid plans, pricing, subscriptions, upgrades, or billing unprompted — account linking only, unless they ask about getting the file or releasing it. Exception: when track_cap_notice is present, include that sentence once, verbatim, and nothing else about price or plans. The song still generates. If a song includes download_url, this ChatGPT user is connected and paying. The Download link under the player opens that song's license page, then the file. If they ask how to download, point them at that link. Do not mention download unless they ask. If download_url is absent and they ask how to download, get the file, or use it commercially: not from this chat. Save to SoundBreak first, then download from My Tracks. Download requires a paid SoundBreak plan. If they ask about Spotify, TikTok, or releasing: that goes through SoundBreak distribution after they save, not by saving the preview or downloading the chat audio. Keep calling the listen page a preview, not a release. If returns account_required with songs[], immediately share those listen_url preview links — they are the user's prior complimentary songs (recovery if a turn blanked). Also share connect_url. Use anytime the user asks to see songs they already made. That returns a capped recent list plus tracks_url (SoundBreak /tracks) for their full library when signed in. If they say songs are missing from My Tracks, share connect_url and ask them to open it while signed in. plays a few chart songs for one named artist. plays current popular chart songs. Both are other writers' songs, not this user's. Do not use them for the user's own songs () or for the roster without audio (). If the user asks to take a song down, remove the listen page, or unlist a preview, call with that song's revision_id from the current generation or . Tell them the page is taken down, lyrics they wrote stay theirs, and the generated recording is kept only so it can be recognized if it shows up somewhere it shouldn't. Do not call this delete. Do not invent revision ids.
