Find out which WordPress theme and plugins any website uses.
Detects child and parent themes, page builders, SEO, caching, forms and e-commerce plugins through the ThemeSniffer connector.
https://themesniffer.com/api/mcpThemeSniffer analyzes any public website from the outside: whether it runs WordPress, its theme and plugins, hosting and CDN, fonts, and colors. Every tool takes a single url argument and a bare domain is fine. Detection reads the public front end only, so plugins that emit no CSS or JS stay invisible. When a site blocks the request or serves a bot challenge, the tool returns an error result that says so and names the blocker where its headers identify it (isWordPress is null, not false) - report that as "could not check", never as "not WordPress" or "no fonts found". A theme name carries nameSource: slug means it was inferred from the folder name and is a guess, and wpOrgUrl is present only for themes that really are in the WordPress.org directory. In the tech stack report, performance.compression is null when the wire encoding was not observable from our edge - report that as "not determined", never as "compression is off", and note that htmlKb is the uncompressed document rather than the bytes a visitor transfers. Private, local, and reserved addresses are refused. Full API and rate-limit documentation: https://themesniffer.com/developers
