Tons of Consequence is an unofficial, opinionated ranking of every Test cricket century, more than 4,600 of them.
Instead of ranking hundreds by runs, it scores each innings on six criteria: match impact, clutchness, narrative, conditions and opposition, historical weight and perceived greatness. You put the six in order of importance and every innings is ranked your way.
https://tons-of-consequence.vercel.app/mcpTons of Consequence is an unofficial, opinionated ranking of every Test cricket century (4,628 innings). Each innings has six criterion scores (0 to 100): Match Impact, Clutchness, Narrative, Conditions & Opposition, Historical Weight and Perceived Greatness. A reader's weighting is just an ORDER of those six (first place counts 30%, then 22, 18, 14, 10, 6), giving a Greatness score out of 100 (this is not the same as a ToC verdict). There are five presets: Default, Purist, Analyst, Patriot, Romantic. The Patriot adds an Australian bonus, which the results always report. Use the tools for facts and quote scores as the model's view, not as objective truth. A hundred is a ton of consequence (a ToC) when the side needed it and it helped them win the match or avoid losing it; a good ton is one that did not. The ToC verdict is separate from the Greatness score, and comes with how firm the evidence is. Say so when you quote one. Link to an innings with the url field when you mention it. For an open question in plain English, try the ask tool first.
