TrimCarbon works out the CO₂ of general-aviation flying, for one pilot, a flight school or club fleet, or an amount of fuel.
Ask in plain words, such as "What's the CO₂ of 50 hours a year in a Cessna 172?", and the result shows in an interactive card where you can change the hours or the fuel and see the figure update. What you can do:
https://mcp.trimcarbon.com/mcpTrimCarbon estimates the CO₂ from flying general-aviation aircraft: from flight hours per aircraft type (one pilot or a whole fleet), or from the fuel burned. Figures are kg of CO₂ from burning the fuel only; they leave out fuel production and non-CO₂ effects. Aircraft types match by name, ICAO type designator or page slug. lists the types when a name is unclear. Each result links to the trimcarbon.com page that explains its figures. opens a card that reads a ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot or LogTen logbook export on the user’s device; the file is not uploaded, and the user chooses to share the hours and CO₂ per aircraft type. With a connected TrimCarbon account, , , , and read the user’s own account, offsets and certificates. They change nothing. returns TrimCarbon’s prices to offset an amount of CO₂, with links to continue on trimcarbon.com. It does not buy anything.
