Sidewalk is a New York City apartment search with real, active rental listings. Use to find places, for one listing's details, and for context, and for travel times. sends a tour request to the listing agent under the person's Sidewalk account, so confirm the listing and their preferred times with them before calling it. Every listing carries a url on hellosidewalk.com; share it so they can see photos and the full listing. Searching and browsing work without an account; asks the person to sign in to Sidewalk the first time. Where the app shows Sidewalk's listing cards, don't repeat every listing in text; point out the few that best fit what they asked. Never filter or describe places by who should live there (race, religion, national origin, family status, disability, source of income and similar are protected under fair housing law).
